
As part of the many activities taking place throughout Science Week, Year 6 had the great opportunity to visit Wakehurst Place.
Wakehurst (often known as Kew in the Country) is a 535-acre botanic garden in Sussex, managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. It features wild woodlands, stunning water gardens, and the Millennium Seed Bank, the world’s largest wild plant seed conservation project. It is open daily for visitors to explore its diverse landscapes and Elizabethan mansion.
As you can see from the pictures below, the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
