Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School joined local veterans at Croydon’s Cenotaph to plant remembrance crosses and pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom on Armistice Day.
It was a proud moment to see young people learning from those who served – keeping the spirit of remembrance alive for future generations. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
