The Pastoral team are the link between school and home, supporting children and their families through difficult periods. Fundamentally, their role is to remove barriers for the most vulnerable children to enable them to access their education, without being disadvantaged in relation to their peers, offering a range of pastoral support, such as ELSA, Friend’s Club, and 1:1 sessions around a variety of different emotions, bereavement therapy, play therapy, Drawing and Talking therapy.
The team is connected to the NHS MHST (Mental Health Support Team), where referrals can be made to help equip parents with the tools to support their child at home.
