In Loving Memory

Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School staff, Governors and friends would like to take a moment to offer our condolences and respect to the family of our dear friend, colleague and Chair of Governors, Mr Stephen Beck who sadly passed away over the Summer break.

Stephen, a husband, father, long standing Headteacher and highly respected Chair of Governors for our school for the past decade will be greatly missed by the many people who’s lives he touched with his kindness throughout the years. 

Stephen was laid to rest at St Columba’s Church in Selsdon surrounded by family and friends. It was a beautiful service and a touching celebration of his life, reflecting the immense dedication and care he gave to our school.

If anyone would like to donate in memory of Stephen to his chosen charities, Stephen and his family have chosen both St Christopher’s Hospice and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, who’s staff have been invaluable in their kindness and support for Stephen.

Our heartfelt thoughts and condolences remain with his family and loved ones during this time.
